Application of infrared technology to heat water
Supergreen Corporation, headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, USA, has been granted a patent for using infrared technology to heat water, providing instantaneous heating efficiency.
Scientists have invented a water heater using infrared technology that works based on an intelligent microprocessor. When the power is turned on, the microprocessor checks the temperature sensors to ensure the water heater is operating safely and smoothly. When the hot water valve is opened, the flow sensor sends information to the intelligent temperature controller to start adjusting the water heating elements.

The unique feature of this product is that instead of heating water with a metal heating element, the water heater uses infrared technology combined with four nano-carbon coated quartz tubes. Accordingly, the four quartz tubes have a smooth surface, are suitable for all water sources, can withstand high pressure, and can heat water quickly and continuously. When power is supplied to the device, the laser beams clamped at the end of the quartz tube begin to heat up. Within 2 seconds, water flows through it and heats itself according to usage needs. With this new technology, water only circulates inside without being stored, so the heat source does not come into contact with the water, so the parts in the tank are not corroded.
In addition to the ability to heat water quickly and instantly, infrared technology with quartz tubes also makes the product safer because water only circulates inside the quartz tube, separate from the power source. To increase safety, scientists have researched and equipped the product with a microchip electric leakage processor.
This product also helps users save maximum power when equipped with an automatic PID intelligent temperature controller. Accordingly, when opening the hot water valve, the flow sensor sends information to the PID temperature controller to start adjusting the heating elements as the water passes through the quartz tube. This helps to minimize power consumption while still ensuring the desired efficiency. In case hot water is not used, the controller will switch to standby mode, the machine will not operate.
This infrared water heater product is supported by many experts because of its successful application of infrared technology to heat water combined with recyclable, environmentally friendly quartz tubes.
Supergreen infrared water heaters are available in the Vietnamese market with family products, suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, jacuzzis and industrial products suitable for spaces that require large amounts of hot water such as swimming pools, buildings, hotels, resorts...
