Support government for the common good

(Baonghean) - The site clearance for the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A is reaching its final stage, but this is also the most difficult stage because households who deliberately demand compensation against regulations have become "bunkers" hindering construction units.

A “tool” for people to demand compensation that is not in accordance with regulations is the land use right certificate. Why is it that the land in the traffic safety corridor has been cleared and compensated for the people once, but now people still demand compensation that is not in accordance with regulations? This consequence is due to the time when land use right certificates were issued according to a “movement”, with an unscientific way of doing things. The massive issuance of land use right certificates to agricultural production households according to Decree 64/CP of the Government has left difficulties for compensation and site clearance today. There are land certificates issued to people within the corridortraffic safety; the cover is not true to the current status, the actual area is much larger than the area measured in the cover. Regarding this unfortunate mistake, the local government has organized a dialogue with the people to apologize and hope that the people will put the national interest first to hand over the land on schedule.

But many households still deliberately do not cooperate with the government to demand compensation despite the regulations of the State and the province. To be fair, the staff who advise on procedures to grant land certificates to people in violation of regulations are both weak in capacity and irresponsible. But the people must also see that the land certificates they have in their hands have been granted incorrectly and therefore have no legal value. According to current law, any level of government that is authorized to sign the decision to grant land use right certificates has the authority to make the decision to revoke them. Therefore, hundreds of land certificates granted incorrectly that people hold in their hands to demand compensation are illegal, the State has the right to revoke them to handle them from the beginning.
