Support victims of earthquake and tsunami in Japan
- Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, on the morning of March 21, the Party Committee, Editorial Board, and Labor Union of Nghe An Newspaper organized a campaign for cadres, reporters, and employees in the entire agency to support the Japanese people affected by the earthquake and tsunami.
With the spirit of supporting at least 1 day's salary for each person, the amount collected was over 7 million VND to help the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan stabilize their lives soon.
- The Department of Health and the Center for Health Education and Communication also launched a fundraising campaign to support the Japanese people affected by the earthquake and tsunami.
Each staff member donated one day's salary, totaling nearly VND8 million. After the fundraiser, the Department of Health issued an official dispatch directing the entire sector to join hands to support victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
- The Elderly Association of Vo Liet Commune (Thanh Chuong) mobilized members to support victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Initially, the amount collected was 2 million VND.
