Coping with post-storm circulation

The Khe Moi overflow bridge (Luc Da commune) which had caused separation during previous floods, but from noon on October 1, people and vehicles could pass normally.
To cope with the post-flood circulation, in Mon Son commune, the flood and storm prevention committee has arranged 5 teams to be on duty 24/7 at the spillways and ferry terminals. All activities at the ferry terminals have been suspended.

To avoid the impact of flooding after storm No. 10, most schools let students stay home on October 1st, only a few schools still held classes as usual.
According to Mr. Hoang Dinh Tuan - Chairman of Con Cuong District People's Committee, Head of the District Flood and Storm Prevention Committee, the rain caused by storm No. 10 did not cause as much damage as storm No. 8.

149 houses had to be relocated, 249 houses were flooded but did not have to be relocated. In the traffic system, 41m was completely washed away, 25m was severely damaged. The Nghia Dan District Military Command mobilized 45 officers and soldiers and more than 500 militiamen and 3 rescue boats to help the people. According to Lieutenant Colonel Ho Van Chuyen, Commander of the Nghia Dan District Military Command, "Never before has the water been as high as this year. Almost all of Highway 531 has been eroded. The District Military Command has mobilized people's vehicles to bring people in the danger zone to safety."
Currently, Nghia Dan has 240 hectares of rice; 24 hectares of trees, crops, and 15 hectares of cassava submerged in water. In addition, 1,420 poultry, 70 pigs, and 40 hectares of ponds and lakes were swept away by storm No. 10.
