On the afternoon of April 2, Mr. Vi Van Phong, Chief of Police of Luan Khe Commune, Thuong Xuan District, Thanh Hoa Province, confirmed that an incident had just occurred in the commune where a son used a homemade gun to shoot his father.seriously injured, had to be hospitalized.

"Considering that the case is beyond our authority, we have transferred the case to Thuong Xuan District Police for handling according to regulations," said Mr. Phong.
According to the report of Luan Khe Commune Police, the incident occurred at around 3:00 a.m. on April 1, in Buong Hamlet (Luan Khe Commune). At that time, Cam Ba Phan (born in 1993) came home from a wedding drinking and had a verbal argument with his biological father, Cam Ba Lieu (born in 1971).
While the father and son were arguing, Phan used a homemade gun (an arrow gun) to shoot his father, injuring Mr. Lieu and requiring him to be taken to Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment.
Immediately after the incident, Luan Khe Commune Police arrived at the scene and reported to Thuong Xuan District Police.
The case is currently being investigated by the Thuong Xuan District Police.
