Proposed discipline for 12 groups and 44 individuals

On September 19, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission, term 2020-2025, held its 16th session to consider disciplinary action against groups and individuals who violated state laws and military discipline.

General Luong Cuong - Politburo member, Standing member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Director of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense.

According to the People's Army Newspaper, speaking at the meeting, General Luong Cuong - Politburo member, Standing member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Director of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission emphasized:

The consideration of proposals for disciplinary action against groups and individuals must be strict, strict, objective, reasonable and most importantly, make groups and individuals clearly aware of their mistakes, have the strength, education, deterrence and timely measures to overcome the violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out.

The Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission requires Party organizations and Party members to seriously learn from experience and promptly correct violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out; and to strengthen leadership and direction of Party committees and organizations.

Inspection Committees at all levels have performed well in inspection and supervision, especially in inspecting and supervising the implementation of Party principles, regulations, State laws and military discipline.

In his concluding remarks, General Luong Cuong commended and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the Standing Committee of the Inspection Committee for organizing inspections and concluding violations of Party organizations and Party members clearly and closely, clearly stating the nature of the violations, without exceptions, without forbidden areas, in accordance with the principles, procedures and regulations of the Party.

General Luong Cuong requested the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission to continue reviewing and finalizing documents for submission to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission for consideration and decision on disciplinary action against Party organizations and Party members with violations and shortcomings in accordance with Party regulations./.
