Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received the title of Typical Cultural Standard Agency for the period 2018-2022

Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province chaired the conference.

In the first 6 months of 2023, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations have effectively implemented the 2023 unified action coordination program in conjunction with the implementation of the province's political tasks. The work of directing, guiding and implementing tasks has been carried out synchronously in the Front system from the province to the locality and grassroots levels.

Information, propaganda, mobilization and gathering of people from all walks of life were promptly implemented, focusing on propagating the activities of the Front on the Fanpage with the result of more than 108,733 likes, 106,270 followers, the community page with the largest number of likes and followers in the Fatherland Front system nationwide. Receiving more than 3,000 opinions from voters and people inside and outside the province, thereby contributing to enhancing the responsibility of the Front in participating in protecting the rights, interests and legitimacy of the people.

The Fatherland Front at all levels has called for and mobilized more than 748.2 billion VND to serve social security work and campaigns, of which: The program "Tet for the poor Quy Mao 2023" mobilized over 137.5 billion VND; in the first 6 months of 2023 alone, 262.641 billion VND was received from Nghe An people across the country. To date, the whole province has had 2,995 poor households move into new houses.

Promoting the role and improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, the provincial Fatherland Front has compiled more than 1,900 opinions and recommendations from the people for consideration and resolution by Party committees and authorities at all levels; in particular, it has organized 504 conferences to collect public opinions on the draft Land Law (amended), with 9,417 comments from organizations and individuals.

At the conference, delegates were informed of the results of the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly; the results of the 14th session of the Provincial People's Council; the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year and the tasks for the last 6 months of 2023 of the province. The conference agreed to urgently overcome existing problems and agreed on key tasks for the last 6 months of 2023.

Concluding the conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province Vo Thi Minh Sinh emphasized 5 priority tasks: Continue to innovate and improve the quality of propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of people from all walks of life; Focus on innovating, improving the quality and effectiveness of campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, focusing on the campaign "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind"; Effectively carry out social supervision and criticism work; Focus on developing the Project and Guidelines for the Congresses of the Front at all levels according to the guidance of the Central Front and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on leading the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, and the Congress of delegates of the Provincial Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term; Continue to promote the application of information technology, carry out digital transformation in the work of the Front.
