V-League: Thanh Hoa and Than Quang Ninh leave everyone behind

Two victories against Dong Tam Long An and Dong Nai in round 7 of V-League this afternoon (February 27) helped Thanh Hoa and Than Quang Ninh continue to pull ahead in the race to the championship this season.

Facing a much weaker opponent, Thanh Hoa showed overwhelming strength. Despite the absence of conductor Nastja Ceh due to suspension, coach Mai Duc Chung's students still easily overwhelmed their opponents.

In the 19th minute, captain Duc Tuan was pulled down in the penalty area. Nghiem Xuan Tu stepped up to the penalty spot and calmly scored to open the score.
