Transporting illegal timber

(Baonghean) -At 11:00 a.m. on November 10, the Criminal Police Team on Economic and Position Management (Quynh Luu District Police) inspected and temporarily detained car with license plate 37B - 002.37 driven by Ho Dien Canh, born in 1980, residing in Quynh Luong, Quynh Luu, transporting 54 rosewood bars weighing 290 kg, with a total value of about 80 million VND.


On the same day, in Hanh Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district, the Thanh Chuong district police patrol team discovered and arrested a truck illegally transporting 7m3 of various types of wood.

District police made a record and handed it over to the Forest Rangers for handling according to regulations.
