Van der Sar reveals MU's tactics against Barcelona
Manchester United's number 1 goalkeeper admitted that if he scores against Barcelona, it will be an opportunity for the "Red Devils" to win the upcoming Champions League final at Wembley.

"The key for us is to score the first goal. Two years ago, MU conceded an early goal and we had difficulty finding an equalizer. So in this match, if possible, we want to change that," the Dutch goalkeeper was quoted as saying by Uefa.com.
However, compared to the meeting 2 seasons ago, MU has made certain changes in terms of force. That is also the reason Van der Sar believes in changes in the upcoming rematch. "MU no longer has two stars, Ronaldo and Tevez. In return, we are more mature and can change our playing style."
Before winning the Champions League with MU in 2008, Van der Sar had won a European championship with Ajax in 1995. If MU wins against Barca on May 28, Van der Sar will have won 3 Champions League titles. 3 years ago, in the final match against Chelsea in Russia, Van der Sar was the key player when he successfully blocked Anelka's penalty kick.
"I still remember Anelka's penalty in 2008. Thanks to that save, MU won the championship. Usually when a team wins, the first name mentioned will be the scorer. Therefore, the feeling of bringing the European championship to MU was very exciting. I want to be able to recreate this," Van der Sar recalled.
Regarding MU reaching the Champions League final this year, Van der Sar also said that this was a completely deserved result. "We deserve to be in the final. The way MU played this season, especially in the second half of the matches, showed everyone the class of MU. Hopefully the lesson from the mistakes in the 2009 final will not be repeated and we will play better at Wembley."
Meanwhile, Manchester United defender Rafael believes that winning the Champions League final will give him a chance to earn a place in the Brazilian national team. "The Champions League is a famous tournament all over the world. When we play in this tournament, we will gain the trust of the national team coaches. I have been playing for Brazil since the beginning of the season, so the more I play for Man United, the more chances I will have to get a place in the national team," Rafael said at a press conference.
