Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council organized a tree planting festival at the beginning of the new spring.
(Baonghean) - Responding to the Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho, this morning, January 29 (the 7th day of the Lunar New Year), staff of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council of Nghe An province visited the tomb of Ms. Hoang Thi Loan to offer flowers and incense in memory and organize the tree planting in early Spring 2012. Also participating in the Tree Planting Festival were comrades: Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Pham Van Tan - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and comrade Nguyen Van Tho - Island Chief of Sinh Ton Island, Truong Sa archipelago.

The delegation came to offer flowers and incense in memory of Ha Thi Hy (Uncle Ho's grandmother) and Hoang Thi Loan (His mother). Next, the delegation planted early spring trees in Hoang Thi Loan's grave, including 3 jasmine trees grafted from a 1,000-year-old jasmine tree - one of the rare trees in Vietnam; 2 square banyan trees donated by officers and soldiers of Sinh Ton Island, Truong Sa archipelago and 10 magnolia trees.
Staff of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council offered incense and commemorated at the tomb of Mrs. Ha Thi Hy - Uncle Ho's grandmother.
