On the morning of August 5, in Da Nang city, the Office of the National Assembly of Vietnam and the Office of the National Assembly of Laos jointly organized a "Working experience exchange workshop between the offices of the National Assembly of Vietnam and Laos". Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Uong Chu Luu attended and delivered a welcome speech at the workshop. Representatives of the leaders of the Offices of the National Assembly of Vietnam and Laos and the delegations of the National Assembly of Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam provinces and Da Nang city attended the workshop.

At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing advisory work, training to improve the qualifications of National Assembly deputies, and question and answer activities at National Assembly sessions and meetings of the National Assembly Standing Committee. Delegates shared skills in collecting opinions and recommendations from voters, resolving them, and organizing services for National Assembly deputies to meet with voters.

Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Uong Chu Luu emphasized: In the process of innovating the organization and operation of the National Assembly, it is necessary to mention the important role and active advice and assistance, ensuring the quality of the office apparatus. Therefore, the Offices of the National Assembly of the two countries also need to continue to innovate. The organization of this workshop to exchange work experiences and exchanges between the offices of the National Assembly of Vietnam and Laos is a very practical, useful and meaningful activity.

At the workshop, Mr. Un Keo Vu Thi Lat, Head of the Office of the National Assembly of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, said that this workshop is an opportunity for the Offices of the National Assembly of the two countries to review the organization and implementation of the content of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Offices of the National Assembly of Laos and Vietnam. Thereby, finding solutions to overcome difficulties and better serve the political tasks of the two National Assemblies of Laos and Vietnam./.
