Provincial People's Committee Office celebrates 70th anniversary of tradition and receives Third Class Independence Medal

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 23, the Provincial People's Committee Office solemnly held the 70th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Office of State Administrative Agencies and received the Third Class Independence Medal.

With many different names, the system of State administrative agencies' Offices of our province has made important contributions to the direction and administration of the People's Committees at all levels through historical periods, successfully implementing the assigned tasks.

During the resistance war against French colonialism, the Provincial People's Committee Office overcame the consequences of war, promoted production growth and built the material foundations of socialism. During the destructive war of the US imperialists, the Office quickly evacuated with agencies and people, stabilized the workplace, and at the same time still did a good job of advising and serving the leadership and direction of State administrative agencies.

During the renovation period, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee is an agency at the same level as the department, an advisory apparatus to assist the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, performing the function of general advisory, assisting the Provincial People's Committee in organizing the general activities of the People's Committee, advising the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee on directing and operating the activities of the province. The Office regularly coordinates with departments, branches and sectors to draft many important reports of the Provincial People's Committee; participates in developing important policies and mechanisms, programs and projects on socio-economic development, national defense and security; well serves the sessions of the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee. The Office of the Provincial People's Committee has truly become the central hub, an important bridge in the working relationship between the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, departments, branches, districts, cities, towns, and mass organizations, ensuring the effective implementation of the task of general advisory, harmonization and coordination to serve the leadership and direction of the Provincial People's Committee.
