Gold prices fell sharply at the end of the week.
SJC gold prices simultaneously decreased in both directions at the end of the trading week, however, the selling price still stuck to the level of 82 million VND/tael.

DOJI listed 9999 gold today at 79.40 million VND/tael for buying and 81.40 million VND/tael for selling.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 80.00 - 81.00 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 79.60 - 81.45 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 2,156,010 USD/ounce. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 63,516 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees).
USD increased slightly at the end of the week

The central VND/USD exchange rate announced by the State Bank today is adjusted to 23,979 VND/USD, an increase of 12 VND compared to the trading session on March 16.

Domestic coffee exceeds 93,000 VND/kg

Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 93,100 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is 93,200 VND/kg.

Specifically, coffee is purchased in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces at a fairly high price of 93,000 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 93,200 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee is purchased at VND92,400/kg. In Dak Lak province, coffee is purchased at around VND92,900 to VND93,000/kg.
Pig price gradually approaches 60,000 VND/kg
Pig pricehas been on an upward trend in the past few days. Today, the weekend of March 17, 2024, is moving sideways across the board and the average in the regions is gradually approaching the 60,000 VND/kg mark.
