Attending the exchange night were journalist, writer Nguyen Hoan, Chairman of Quang Tri Literature and Arts Association, Dr. Le Thanh Nga, Faculty of Education, Vinh University and many other speakers.
In particular, the exchange night had literary critic Dang Tien, a friend of musician Trinh Cong Son returning from France, attending, with his own sharing about Trinh.
In a small, cozy, and cheerful space, Trinh's lovers sat together to remember the talented musician, who was deeply saddened and loved him to the end, to sing again the songs that transcend time and space, to once again silently absorb the lyrics and melodies that are both simple, everyday, and philosophically profound to the point of "impermanence"...

The songs “Diem Xua”, “Let’s Love Each Other”, “Doa Hoa Vo Thuong”, “Ha Trang”, “Noi Vong Tay Lon”… resound clearly and passionately… Trinh’s music lives forever with time because it soothes people’s pain and suffering, is medicine for the human soul, and encourages people in life. It helps people deeply realize the brevity of life, but also makes people look deeply into it and overcome the limitations of time, to breathe, to speak… to live meaningfully, fully and passionately in this world.

Critic Dang Tien with new shares about Trinh |
Mr. Nguyen Hoan, a “Trinh Cong Son scholar of Quang Tri”, traveled hundreds of kilometers to attend the exchange night, emotionally saying: “Trinh’s music, Trinh’s words talk about love, about homeland, about human fate. I love all of Trinh’s “musical heritage”. Especially the songs about human fate, because the war has passed, life has changed, in any era, people still have a fate with many feelings and loves. So it will always be true, always touching, always speak the hearts of many people in the past, present, or future”...

Talking about Trinh, it is difficult to say everything, but the most special thing that Trinh did, according to his friend when he was alive - critic Dang Tien shared, was "liberating women". "For Trinh, women did not have to do anything, when happy they laughed, when sad they cried, when they liked they "stand up to call the rain to summer", just to love and be loved. Trinh's mother was not talked about as hard-working, miserable, enduring, and industrious, but with her own aspirations and moods, in war, through war or in everyday life...
The exchange night “Talking about Trinh Cong Son” ended in a resounding echo. 76 years we have had Trinh in the world, and forever after, we still have Trinh, remember Trinh’s “world” and sing Trinh songs.
