Entering the hospital to slash an intern
On June 23, the Investigation Police Agency initiated a case and prosecuted four suspects: Nguyen Huu Trong (born in 1986), Nguyen Van Cuong (born in 1991), Nguyen Van Phuoc (born in 1990), all residing in Block 6, Con Cuong town, and Dang Ngoc Giang (born in 1991), residing in Block 7, Con Cuong town, for intentionally causing injury and disturbing public order.
At 2:15 p.m. on June 21, 2011, during working hours, the four subjects entered the Southwest Regional General Hospital (Block 2, Con Cuong town) and slashed Mr. Kim Cong Thuong, an intern student, causing Mr. Thuong to need 6 stitches. The group of young men also broke and damaged some equipment and items of the hospital.
Seized batch of modern medicine of unknown origin
Market Management Team No. 3 under the Nghe An Market Management Department in coordination with Nghi Loc District Police has just arrested the owner of a large shipment of modern medicine of unknown origin, including: 791 bottles of Ofloxavin 200mg antibiotics, 790 blister packs of Ciproxacin 500mg and 2,950 packets of Voltaren 75mg ampoules, worth nearly 1 billion VND. The above drugs were sold by Nguyen Van Vinh, residing in Dong An, Nang Tinh, City.

Arrested 3 subjects using illegal explosives
At 9:00 a.m. on June 20, at Moi hamlet, Chau Dinh commune, Quy Hop district, PC49 discovered and arrested 3 subjects, including: Pham Van Truong (born in 1972, residing in Quynh Lam - Quynh Luu); Vi Van Tuan (born in 1976, residing in Coi village - Chau Dinh - Quy Hop) and Truong Van Khue (born in 1962, residing in Quynh Ba - Quynh Luu) for illegally using industrial explosives in mining construction stone. PC49 seized 10 electric detonators and 3kg of explosives.
Arrested 127 cases of forestry law violations
Through patrolling and controlling, from the beginning of June until now, the forest rangers in the province have promptly detected and arrested 127 cases of forestry law violations. Of which: Illegal deforestation: 10 cases; Violations in timber and forest product exploitation: 5 cases; Violations in wildlife management: 3 cases; Illegal trading and transporting of forest products: 99 cases; Other violations: 10 cases. Thereby, 268.46 m3 of various types of wood and 1,531 kg of wild animals have been seized. Over 1.8 billion VND has been paid to the state budget.
