Jailed for drug possession

(Baonghean.vn)On the morning of October 26, the Provincial People's Court opened a trial for the case of illegal possession of drugs against Pham Van Tho (born in 1967), residing at: Thanh Vinh 2 hamlet, Nghi Quang commune, Nghi Loc and Nguyen Thi Hoa (born in 1979), residing at: hamlet 4, Xuan Son, Do Luong.

According to the indictment, Tho and Hoa went to Que Phong district together to visit their sick son. While in Que Phong, the two subjects went to Chau Thon commune to buy 39.34 grams of heroin for use. On the way back, they were arrested. Having a criminal record, Tho was sentenced to 17 years in prison by the Court, and Nguyen Thi Hoa to 15 years in prison.
