Athlete Tran Van Tuong won the 6th gold medal for Vietnam
Wrestler Van Tuong continues to bring home the 6th gold medal for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation, Vietnam is currently ranked 2nd on the overall rankings.
- Athlete Nguyen Thi Chinh won the gold medal in the 48kg weight class of the Sanshou event. She defeated Divine (Philippines) with a score of 2-0.
- Martial artist Nguyen Thu Hoai defeated Evita (Philippines) with a score of 2-0 in the final match of the 52 kg weight class. Thus, we have won absolutely in the 2 final matches of the Sanshou events that took place this afternoon.
- Athlete Doi Dang Tien brought home the first gold medal for the Vietnamese Wrestling Team, also the 5th gold medal for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at this SEA Games.

- Athlete Tran Van Tuong won the 6th gold medal for Vietnam. He defeated the Lao athlete 5-0 in the 3rd match of the 66kg weight class.

* Wushu: 2 gold medals (Nguyen Thi Chinh and Nguyen Thu Hoai in Sanshou), 2 silver medals: Duong Thuy Vi (spearmanship), Nguyen Manh Quyen (sabre), 1 bronze medal (Pham Quoc Khanh - men's sabre).
+ Wrestling: 2 gold medals: Doi Dang Tien (55kg), Tran Van Tuong (66kg); 1 bronze medal (Sy Thu, 60kg weight class).
