(Baonghean.vn) - Cua Lo is blessed by nature with many scenic spots. With the terrain of "two dragons facing each other", this land is considered the green pearl of the East Sea with many cultural, historical and mysterious legends.

Cua Lo lies between two large rivers, the Lam River to the South and the Cam River to the North, and in front is the East Sea. Looking into the distance, on the right is the towering Thach Dong Mountain, and on the left are Song Ngu Island and Hon Mat Island.

Cua Lo has Kiem Mountain and Co Mountain, creating a sacred atmosphere for the development of martial arts: this is the birthplace of outstanding military generals of the nation such as Cuong Quoc Cong Nguyen Xi, Thai Bao Nguyen Su Hoi. The Nguyen Dinh family, descendants of Nguyen Xi, has dozens of people who were granted the title of District Duke and Marquis.

Cua Lo beach is over 10km long, has a gentle slope, smooth white sand, clear and clean water, not mixed with mud like some other beaches.

Above the beach, there are also many large parks with rows of green casuarinas and coconut trees. The sea water here has a very high salinity. Therefore, Cua Lo is one of the ideal beaches in Vietnam.

From Cua Lo town, visitors can also join one of the other attractive tours inside and outside the town such as: Kim Lien (Nam Dan), Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh City), Pu Mat primeval forest (Con Cuong), Lac Xao (Laos) and Thailand.

Coming to Cua Lo, tourists can visit Lan Chau Island, Ngu Island, Cua Hoi eco-tourism area... In particular, tourists can visit the fairy tomb (on Lan Chau Island) Song Ngu Pagoda on Ngu Island by speedboat or cruise to Lo Son Pagoda, Van Loc Temple, Thu Lung Temple...

On Lan Chau Island, located right next to Cua Lo beach, Cua Lo beach is divided into two separate areas. At the foot of the mountain, to the southeast, there are many large rocks, strangely shaped with many different names. On the island, in 1936, King Bao Dai built a castle for his vacation.

From here, visitors can admire the whole view of Cua Lo town and the vast ocean. Here, there is a strangely beautiful sea daisy species that King Bao Dai himself brought back from France.

Ngu Island Pagoda was built in the 13th century under the Tran Dynasty. Ngu Island Pagoda consists of two main areas: the Pagoda and the Pagoda Garden. The pagoda was built in the shape of the letter "T", including the lower hall and the upper hall. The lower hall has 3 rooms covered with yin-yang tiles, worshiping the god Sat Hai Dai Vuong Hoang Ta Thon; the upper hall also has 3 rooms covered with yin-yang tiles, worshiping Buddhas; The lower beams are carved with the Four Sacred Animals (Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix) very beautifully and very sacredly; Princess Huyen Tran was rescued by General Tran Khat Chan and brought back to Thang Long, once went to the island, entered the pagoda to burn incense and pray to Buddha.

The temple garden has many naturally growing green trees such as: Dai, Mung, Duoi (in the temple garden there are currently 02 Barringtonia trees and 01 ancient Duoi tree) and 01 well called Ngoc Well because it is the only place on the island with fresh water, the well is not deep but the water is very clear, sweet and never dries up.

The temple yard has two Barringtonia trees, the lower one is about 700 years old. Between the two large and small islands, there is a beach of pebbles, with clear water all year round, called Tien beach.

Ports on Song Ngu Island and Lan Chau Island have also been built, convenient for pilgrims and tourists to visit the temple.
