"We have a lot of work to do to regain the trust of the people. I have never doubted that my age or gender will affect my success in my new position. All that comes to my mind is the reason why I entered politics and what we have to do to gain the trust of voters," the BBC quoted the 34-year-old female politician as saying.
Meanwhile, the Women's Agenda website reported that Marin, Finland's third female head of state, will lead a government coalition of five parties. Notably, the heads of these five parties are all women.
