Mr. Cao Tien Hao - Principal of Bach Ngoc Secondary School "boasted": On July 7, the school was recognized as meeting national standards according to Decision No. 3104 of the Provincial People's Committee. Sharing that joy, we went back with him to the not-so-distant years of teachers and students, how much hard work and worry they had to put in to have a foundation and the new days now... In August 2008, the District People's Committee issued Decision No. 1002 to merge 3 schools from 3 communes to the main point in Lam Son with the new name of Bach Ngoc Secondary School. At first, the people still did not agree to transfer their children to the new school because the road was far away and they were used to the old school. It was not until 2011 that Bach Ngoc School truly became a gathering place for students from all 3 communes. From then on, there were days full of hardships for teachers and students to work together to teach, study and like ants carrying food to build a foundation.

Mr. Cao Tien Hao led us to the front of the school, waved his hand towards a field about 3 meters below Lam Giang road "That is Con Dinh field, in front of my school it is also as deep as the field". Then he pointed to the hill behind the school "The school is what it is today thanks to... the soil and rocks from Cau Tran hill". Cau Tran hill belongs to hamlet 8 (Lam Son), only red soil mixed with rough rocks. Just 3 years ago, every rainy and flood season, students basically had to take a day off from school, every year. Then when Giang Son Tay road was built, the district supported the school to get soil from Cau Tran hill, plus the efforts of teachers, staff, and parents to gradually raise the school's foundation to over 12,000 m2. From being level with Con Dinh field, the school's foundation has now been raised to 3 meters. Meaning that the place where the carpets of ten o'clock flowers and chrysanthemums are blooming beside the administrative building where we are standing today is at the height of a house. It's only been 3 years, not a long time, but to be able to do that much, perhaps only a passionate love of learning can do it.

Originally, the economy of this area also relied mainly on rice, but it could only be grown in the summer-autumn crop, so it was considered a remote area of ​​the district. Therefore, putting the socialization of education as a top priority is one thing, whether it exists or not is another. Fortunately, the people of the former Bach Ngoc commune and the people of the three communes of Ngoc - Lam - Boi are now known for their love of learning. In addition to the district budget, the Education sector mobilized each commune, hamlet, and each person to contribute to "For the future of our children". As Mr. Hao said, "we have to save and save to get this much". Now, on an area of ​​12,631m2, there are 1,732m2 of construction works, 4,000m2 of playgrounds and exercise grounds (an average of 20m2/student). Each shift has 19 rooms/19 classes, area 54m2/room, has a medical room, 2 laboratories, traditional house, equipment warehouse, administration house, computer room, music room... All have created the appearance of a truly spacious school, tall and bustling with new colors on Lam Son land.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Do Luong district said: Bach Ngoc Secondary School is one of 8 merged schools of the district, but is the first school to meet national standards level 1. In the 2013-2014 school year, the school was rated as one of the top schools in the district. Teachers are solid in their expertise with 37/45 people achieving the title of excellent teachers from the grassroots level and above (including 3 teachers who are excellent teachers at the provincial level). Last school year, the school had 4 students achieving the provincial excellent students with first prize in History, second prize in Biology, online English, and Civic Education. These are the first sweet fruits of the season of Bach Ngoc Secondary School, the place where dreams are nurtured.
