Neighborhood cleaning - good job in block 1 - Quang Trung ward

(Baonghean) - It has become a tradition for decades that every Sunday morning, when the loudspeaker of the block announces, the people of block 1, Quang Trung ward, Vinh city, are present to participate in cleaning the area around the block.

During the launch, if any family was absent, the block cadres would visit each house to check and call them to participate. Therefore, for many years now, this activity has been maintained regularly with the high consensus of 100% of the people in the block.

Block 1, Quang Trung Ward is the old Quang Trung apartment complex, where many residents live while the infrastructure has seriously degraded, affecting the daily life of the people. The drainage system is damaged, the housing area, narrow corridors, large amount of daily waste, and close to the market, so ensuring environmental sanitation is one of the issues that the block is particularly concerned about.

Mr. Vo Van Nhuan - block head of block 1, Quang Trung ward said: "Quang Trung apartment complex has more than 300 households, mainly officials and civil servants. Sunday is a day off so families have time to participate in cleaning the common environment. After sweeping and collecting garbage, the neighborhood becomes clean, the roads are clear. This is a small but meaningful job, especially through this job, it has raised the awareness of each citizen to join hands to protect their own living environment and the community".
