Caracas will also sue the US at regional organizations, including the Organization of American States (OAS), the Summit of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), Jaua said, stressing that Caracas has a “comprehensive record” of claims of interference by US President Barack Obama, Secretary of State John Kerry and other senior US officials, in addition to the constant threat of sanctions.
The government of President Nicolas Maduro is currently shaken by a wave of street protests, which have left 42 people dead and more than 800 injured./.
