VFF heavily fines two players in First Division brawl
The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Disciplinary Board has issued penalties for Xuan Nam and Van Son, following the brawl between the two players in the match between Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club and PVF-CAND on the evening of November 14.
Afternoon of November 15, Organizing Committee National First Division2024/2025 has completed the process of reviewing and synthesizing documents on the scuffle between player Xuan Nam (PVF-CAND) and Vu Van Son (Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club). Accordingly, the Tournament Organizing Committee proposed to strictly handle the scuffle between player Nguyen Xuan Nam (PVF-CAND) and player Vu Van Son (Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club) in the tunnel area.

This brawl seriously violated the regulations of the Professional Football Regulations, the Tournament Charter and the VFF Disciplinary Regulations, therefore, it needs to be seriously considered and handled.
In addition, the organizing committee also sent a report to consider punishment for the act of insulting and insulting the referee after the match by the Head of Delegation and media officer of PVF-CAND Club.

Based on information from the organizing committee, the VFF Disciplinary Board issued the following penalties: Fine the head of the PVF-CAND Club delegation 10 million VND, suspended from duty for the next 3 matches; Fine Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nga - media officer of PVF-CAND Club 5 million VND, suspended from duty for 2 matches; Fine player Nguyen Xuan Nam of PVF-CAND Club and Vu Van Son of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club 20 million VND, suspended from playing 4 matches.
Previously, on the evening of November 14, after the match between PVF-CAND Club and Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club ended with a score of 0-0, players from both teams collided in the tunnel area leading to the Thong Nhat Stadium locker room. Striker Xuan Nam and defender Vu Van Son got into a scuffle. As a result, Xuan Nam suffered a broken nose and was bleeding profusely, while Van Son suffered scratches and swelling in many areas of his face.
This incident has a very negative impact on the image of the national professional league system as well as Vietnamese football./.
