VFF issues a series of penalties after female player brawl incident
Two days after the incident where players from the women's teams of Ho Chi Minh City I and Vietnam Minerals fought at Thong Nhat Stadium, last night, October 14, the VFF Disciplinary Board issued a series of heavy penalties for the individuals involved.
Last night, the VFF homepage announced the penalties related to the brawl between the two women's teams Ho Chi Minh City I and Vietnam Minerals at Thong Nhat Stadium on October 12.

Accordingly, a series of penalties were issued. Specifically, 4 players of Ho Chi Minh City I, Tran Nguyen Bao Chau (No. 18), Nguyen Thi My Anh (No. 25), Tran Thi Phuong Thao (No. 37), Tran Thi Thu (No. 15) were each fined 10 million VND and suspended from participating in football activities managed and organized by VFF for 5 months.
The reason is that the above players committed an especially serious act of physical assault against a player of the Vietnam Coal and Minerals team during the match between the two teams Ho Chi Minh City I and Vietnam Coal and Minerals on October 12, 2018 at Thong Nhat Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City.
On the side of Vietnam Coal and Minerals, two players Pham Hoang Quynh (number 8) and Khong Thi Hang (number 32) were also fined 10 million VND each and suspended from participating in football activities managed and organized by VFF for 5 months for the same above-mentioned errors.
In addition, Thong Nhat Sports Center - the host of the return matches of the National Women's Football Championship - Thai Son Bac Cup 2018 was fined 10 million VND for allowing spectators to enter the field and beat players of the Vietnam Coal and Minerals team in the above match.
Team Ho Chi Minh City I and Vietnam Minerals were each fined 30 million VND because a large number of their players got into a fight with each other.
