Because of a corrugated iron roof, a young man used a stick to injure his neighbor's father and son.

(Baonghean.vn) -In a fight over a neighbor damaging his house's corrugated iron roof, Liem picked up a 60cm long bamboo stick and beat his neighbor and his son.

On the afternoon of December 22, the Nghi Loc District Police Department announced that it had initiated a criminal case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained Luong Van Liem (born in 1994), residing in Thai Tho hamlet, Nghi Thai commune, Nghi Loc district, to investigate the crime of "Intentionally causing injury".

Previously, at 5:00 p.m. on December 14, Luong Van Liem returned home and saw his mother and Mr. Luong Van Tham (neighbor) arguing about the roof of his house being damaged by Mr. Luong Van Tho, Mr. Tham's son.

Frustrated, Liem went out to argue with Luong Van Tho. After arguing for a while without solving the problem, they both turned to physical violence.

While Liem and Tho were fighting, Mr. Tham used a wooden stick 80cm long and 12cm in diameter to hit Luong Van Liem on the head. Feeling hurt, Liem picked up a bamboo stick 60cm long and 5cm in diameter from the front gate and hit Mr. Tham and Tho on the head and body many times.

Although Liem’s parents and neighbors intervened, Liem’s attacks injured Mr. Tham and his son, requiring hospitalization. The assessment results showed that Mr. Luong Van Tho had a 32% disability rate.

After committing the crime, Luong Van Liem fled. At 8:30 p.m. the same day, he turned himself in to the authorities and confessed to all his crimes.
