Before that at about 16:00 on21/2/2015, the Traffic Police Team of Quynh Luu District Police, consisting of 5 officers and soldiers, led by Lieutenant Colonel Vo Quang Trung - Deputy Team Leader of the Traffic Police Team on National Highway 1A at km 407 (Quynh Giang Commune), discovered a motorbike without a license plate, modified and revving at high speed with two young men riding on it, speeding in the direction of Cau Giat - Vinh. Immediately, the officers and soldiers signaled to stop the vehicle for inspection. Ignoring the signal from the Traffic Police, the driver turned the vehicle around and rushed into the Traffic Police Team, then used an iron pipe to attack the task force, causing Major Nguyen Trong Phuc to be seriously injured and had to be taken to the Quynh Giang Commune Medical Station for emergency treatment. Despite the attack, the task force was still determined to pursue, surround and capture the driver, while the person sitting behind is currently on the run.

At the investigation agency, the subject stated his name was Nguyen Van Hoa, and the person sitting behind him was his younger brother. The case is currently under investigation to complete the case file to prosecute the subject.
