Violating traffic laws and resisting law enforcement officers

(Baonghean)- Yen Thanh District Police have just temporarily detained Nguyen Tri Thanh (born 1994), residing in Hamlet 10, Son Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, for resisting a person on official duty.

Previously, at 2:30 p.m. on February 20, a traffic police patrol team of Yen Thanh district police was on duty at km 16+300 on provincial road 538 in Bac Thanh commune and discovered Nguyen Tri Thanh driving a motorbike with license plate 37L7-7044, carrying a woman behind him, both of them not wearing helmets.

The traffic police patrol team signaled for the car to stop, but Thanh did not comply and drove straight into the working group, causing soldier Nguyen Manh Thang to fall onto the road and be seriously injured, requiring emergency treatment at Hospital 115 (Vinh City).

Currently, Yen Thanh police are completing the file and prosecuting the defendant for resisting law enforcement officers.
