Violations in fishing, 3 fishing boat owners were fined
(Baonghean.vn) - Within just a few days of inspecting and controlling fishing activities in Nghe An waters, Nghe An Fisheries Sub-Department discovered and handled administrative violations against 03 fishing boat owners who committed illegal fishing acts.

Accordingly, from February 11 to February 13, 2022, the Inspection Team of Nghe An Fisheries Sub-Department used the Fisheries Control Ship VN-93967-KN and a working boat to patrol, inspect and control the waters of Quynh Luu and Hoang Mai town. They discovered 2 fishing boats of Thanh Hoa province using fishing boats with the longest length of less than 12m to illegally exploit aquatic products in the coastal waters of Nghe An province and did not write the fishing boat registration number as prescribed; 01 fishing boat of fishermen of Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province illegally discharged fishing gear into natural waters.
The inspection team advised the Branch Director to impose administrative penalties on the three fishing boat owners mentioned above with a total amount of 22.5 million VND.
