The incident is said to have occurred in Thanh Chuong district on the evening of July 31. Video footage shows that at around 9:20 p.m., a man and a woman on a motorbike stopped in front of a grocery store.
The young man got out of the car and went in to choose some fruit to buy. Then, while the shop owner was busy paying and checking the goods, the girl went to the glass cabinet, stole the bag containing the sales money and stuffed it into her body.

The two then quickly got in their car and sped away. People have posted pictures and video clips on social media asking for help finding the couple.
