Nghe An Provincial People's Procuracy presents gifts to Dong Van commune
(Baonghean) - Dong Van is a remote commune, a particularly difficult area located in the Northwest of Que Phong district, Nghe An province, with a natural area of 29,085.88 hectares, 962 households, 3,989 people, with two ethnic groups living together, Thai and Kinh, of which 524 households are poor (accounting for 54.46%). Currently, there are 577 households and 1,690 people affected by the construction of the hydropower project and must be relocated to resettlement areas.

Implementing the assignment of the Provincial People's Committee, in order to share difficulties with people in remote areas, the People's Procuracy of Nghe An province has sponsored and supported Dong Van commune, Que Phong district in socio-economic development and sustainable poverty reduction in the period 2011-2015.
Recently, representatives of the Provincial People's Procuracy visited, encouraged and presented Dong Van commune with a computer set, worth 11,000,000 VND. In addition, in the coming time, the Youth Union of the unit will support the dissemination and education of legal knowledge for youth - union members in the commune.
