Vietnam - Laos: 'The loyal love between the Eastern Truong Son and the Western Truong Son'

(Baonghean.vn) - The art exchange program is an important diplomatic activity, aiming to continue strengthening and developing the traditional friendship, special and great solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

On the evening of December 7, in Nghe An, the Ethnic Committee and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction and the Lao Ministry of Interior organized a people's exchange program and art performance with the theme "The loyal love of Truong Son Dong - Truong Son Tay".

Attending the program on the Lao side were comrades: Say Som Phom Vi Han - Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction; Kham Man Sun Vi Lot - Party Central Committee member, Minister of Interior of Laos; Kham Bay Dam Lat - Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction; Vieng Xay Da Ra Sen - Temporary Representative of the Lao Democratic Republic in Vietnam.

On the Vietnamese side, there were comrades: Tran Thanh Man - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Party Central Committee members: Do Van Chien - Minister, Chairman of the Vietnam Ethnic Committee; Hau A Lenh - Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Nguyen The Ky - General Director of the Voice of Vietnam.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors; Also attending were more than 300 delegates representing leaders, cadres working on ethnic affairs, fronts at all levels, and prestigious people of 10 pairs of provinces along the Vietnam - Laos, Laos - Vietnam border. Comrade Tran Thanh Man - Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front emphasized: The program takes place at a meaningful time when the two countries are having many practical activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Volunteer Soldiers and Experts in Laos.

On the basis of the special and great relationship between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Vietnam and Laos, the ethnic minorities living along the Vietnam - Laos border have always stood side by side in controlling nature, fighting for national liberation, building and protecting the country, always sharing the joys and sorrows, sharing the sweet and bitter "half a bowl of rice, half a grain of salt", that tradition has been built long ago, passed down from generation to generation, preserved and cultivated by the people of the two countries to become more and more sustainable, unshakeable.

Speaking at the exchange night, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction Xay Som Phom Vi Han emphasized: This is an extremely important political event of two close and friendly neighboring countries, the people of the two countries have a long-standing, loyal, steadfast traditional relationship.

A special relationship was established by President Ho Chi Minh, President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Soupha Nouvoir, and has been continuously nurtured by generations of Party leaders and people of the two countries throughout history.
