Vietnam 0-3 Uzbekistan: Home team receives bitter defeat

Playing at My Dinh Stadium, with the cheers of home fans, the Vietnamese team was unable to win against the visiting team Uzbekistan, a team with a large physique.

Conceding another goal early, the Vietnamese team raised their formation to look for a goal. However, facing Uzbekistan's tight defense, the red-shirted players could not score, but instead faced many dangerous situations towards goalkeeper Tan Truong's goal. In the 90th minute, while the Vietnamese team had pushed all the way to the opponent's field, the Uzbekistan players unexpectedly had a "counterattack" and neatly scored. Defender Khasimov was the one who sealed the 3-0 victory for the away team.

The 3-0 defeat at home for the Vietnam national team also came at a heavy price when defender Van Nhien suffered a serious injury and had to leave the field at the beginning of the second half. In the final minutes of the match, captain Le Tan Tai received a red card and had to leave the field after a malicious tackle on an opposing player.
