These are 100 units out of 15,544 units sold worldwide; produced between June 28 and October 4, 2013 and imported by Suzuki Vietnam.
Suzuki Vietnam recommends to users that due to the tightening force of the water pump pulley mounting bolts installed on the Suzuki Swift GLX not being tight enough according to regulations, these bolts may loosen during use.
This can create unusual noises and in the worst case the bolts can come loose, the water pump belt can slip, the engine check light will come on due to loss of power and overheating.
Worst case scenario, the engine stalls and won't start.
In late 2010, Suzuki also recalled 280,000 Suzuki Swift and Suzuki SX4 Sport vehicles worldwide to fix rearview mirror errors.
