Vietnam wins Asia's most attractive manufacturing investment country award
According to a VNA reporter in Malaysia, on the evening of November 21, Top 10 of Asia Initiative (an organization based in Kuala Lumpur) held the event ''Top Asia Corporation Ball 2014'' to honor the achievements of outstanding individuals, organizations and countries across Malaysia and Asia.

The event attracted about 900 guests including CEOs, business owners and diplomats from more than 20 Asian countries. Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Pham Cao Phong attended the event.
This is the second time that the Top 10 of Asia Initiative has held the Top 10 of Malaysia and Top 10 of Asia awards ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
At the Top 10 of Asia awards ceremony, Vietnam received the award for Asia's Most Attractive Nation for Manufacturing, topping the list of 20 selected Asian countries.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office of Malaysia Wee Ka Siong stressed that outstanding role models across Asia are needed more than ever in all areas of life and need to be widely publicized to encourage organizations, individuals and countries to strive for greater achievements in all areas.
In addition to Vietnam, in the Asian region, Maldives won the award for most attractive island country destination, the Philippines won the award for highest economic growth country, Singapore won the award for most attractive business talent, Uzbekistan won the award for most agricultural and industrial development, Thailand won the award for most attractive medical tourism and Malaysia won the award for new opportunities in foreign investment.
