Vietnam records 4 more Covid-19 cases, bringing total to 222
According to the Ministry of Health, as of 6:00 a.m. on April 2, 4 new cases were recorded, 1 case related to Bach Mai Hospital, bringing the total number of Covid-19 patients in Vietnam to 222.
According to the report of the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, as of 6:00 a.m. this morning (April 2), 4 new cases were recorded, bringing the total number of Covid-19 patients in Vietnam to 222. Of which, 1 case is a family member taking care of a patient at Bach Mai Hospital, 3 cases were quarantined immediately after entering the country, with no risk of spreading in the community.

CASE 219 (BN 219):The female patient, 59 years old, Vietnamese nationality, from Hung Yen, went to take care of a patient at the Department of Neurology, Bach Mai Hospital, in the same room as Patient 133 on March 16. On March 25, the patient heard that someone had Covid-19 in the Department of Neurology, so she went to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2, for examination and was immediately hospitalized for isolation. Currently, the patient has no cough, no fever, and no difficulty breathing.
CASE 220 (BN220):The patient is a 20-year-old male Vietnamese national who returned to Vietnam from France on March 17. After entering the country, he was quarantined at a centralized quarantine facility in Thach That, Hanoi. On the morning of March 22, the patient developed a fever of 37.8 degrees Celsius and a dry cough. The Hanoi Center for Disease Control tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 and transferred the patient to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2, for quarantine and treatment.
CASE 221 (BN221):Female patient, 24 years old, Vietnamese nationality, studying in Canada. On March 24, the patient returned to Vietnam from Canada, transiting in Taipei, Taiwan. After entering the country, the patient was transferred to the centralized quarantine area of Regiment 834. The screening test result was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus, the patient was transferred to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2. The patient's sample was sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 30. Currently, the patient is being isolated and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2, with stable health condition.
CASE 222 (BN222):The patient is a 28-year-old female Vietnamese citizen residing in Phuc Loi, Long Bien, Hanoi, living and working in the US. On March 20, the patient returned to Vietnam on flight JL751. After entering the country, the patient was transferred to a centralized quarantine area. The screening test on March 22 showed a positive result for SARS-CoV-2, and the patient was transferred to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2. The patient's sample was sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 30. The patient is currently being isolated and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2, and is in stable health condition.
Up to this point, Vietnam has recorded 222 cases of Covid-19, of which 63 have recovered./.
