Vietnam enters the top 10 world beauty powers for the first time

Missosology website assessed that Vietnam had a successful year when it sent many talented representatives to international beauty contests and ranked eighth with 250 points.

As the major competitions of 2015 concluded, the Missosology website released a summary of the outstanding countries. This result was compiled from the achievements in the four major beauty pageants: Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International and Miss Earth.

The three beauty representatives of Vietnam, Thuy Van, Pham Huong and Lan Khue, are all highly appreciated.

Vietnam is in the top 10 for the first time. Missosology gave Vietnam 250 points, ranking it eighth. 2015 was a year of prosperity for Vietnam when the contestants sent to compete had remarkable achievements. The most prominent were Pham Hong Thuy Van as the 3rd runner-up of Miss International, Lan Khue in the top 11 of Miss World. Although Pham Huong did not win the Miss Universe award, she attracted attention on social networks from the first days of participation.

The Philippines became the number one country on the world beauty map this year after winning big in four pageants. With victories in Miss Universe and Miss Earth, the Philippines earned 610 points. The United States lost its number one position after its representatives finished 4th runner-up in Miss International, 2nd runner-up in Miss Earth and 2nd runner-up in Miss Universe.

The top 10 list also includes Venezuela, Australia, Brazil, France, Colombia, Spain, and Indonesia.

The Philippines has two representatives winning titles at Miss Universe and Miss Earth.
