Before Vietnam opened its doors to tourists, Michel Blanchard had the opportunity to bring his camera with him when he went to do a reportage and had the opportunity to travel from Lang Son to Ho Chi Minh City. After finishing his job as a resident reporter in Vietnam, he continued to visit the S-shaped country several times a year for more than ten years as a travel writer.
