Vietnam protests fishing ban in the East Sea

On May 15, answering a reporter's question about Vietnam's reaction to the Chinese Fisheries Administration's announcement of a fishing ban in the East Sea from May 16 to August 1, Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Luong Thanh Nghi stated:

“Vietnam's stance on this issue was clearly stated in the statement of the Spokesperson of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on January 20, 2012.

Vietnam opposes this unilateral decision of China and considers this decision to be invalid.”./.
