Recently, new coach Park Hang Seo announced his goal during his 2 years and 2 months leading the Vietnam National Team is to bring the team into the top 100 on the FIFA rankings.
Thus, if he gets points from victories in the upcoming matches, especially a ticket to the 2019 ASIAN Cup Finals, the Korean coach's position in the Top 100 is relatively feasible.
In the past, Vietnamese football was in the Top 100 in 1996, 1998, 2000, 2003 and 2011.
