Vietnam, China discuss measures to promote bilateral relations
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh and Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi will co-chair the 10th Meeting of the Vietnam-China Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation in Beijing, China from April 16-18.

At the meeting, the two sides will focus on reviewing the cooperation situation since the 9th meeting; exchanging directions and measures to promote the implementation of agreements and common perceptions of high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and two countries.
The two sides will also discuss measures to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the coming time on the principles of equality and mutual benefit, serving the development goals of each country.
Since the 9th Session in June 2016 in Hanoi, the relationship between the two countries has continued to maintain a positive development trend. The senior leaders of the two Parties and countries have maintained regular bilateral contacts and reached important common perceptions on continuing to promote the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to develop stably and healthily.
Exchanges and cooperation between ministries, sectors and localities of the two countries have been promoted; cooperation in many fields such as economics, trade, investment and tourism continues to be strengthened...
