Vietnam and Cambodia promote defense cooperation

On the occasion of attending the 6th ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting (ADMM-6) in Cambodia, on the afternoon of May 28 in Phnom Penh, General Phung Quang Thanh, Minister of National Defense and the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense had a bilateral meeting with General Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Cambodia.
At the meeting, General Tea Banh happily informed General Phung Quang Thanh and the delegation that the preparations for ADMM-6 had been completed and thanked the valuable support of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense to help the Cambodian Ministry of National Defense successfully organize military-defense conferences in 2012.
Thanking General Tea Banh for inviting the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense to attend ADMM-6, General Phung Quang Thanh expressed his belief that the Cambodian Ministry of National Defense in particular and Cambodia in general will successfully organize the ASEAN Year 2012.
