Vietnam - France cooperates in telecommunications and high-speed Internet

French enterprises operating in IT and new communications will have the opportunity to learn about and invest in Vietnam.

During 2 days (September 26 and 27), a delegation of 4 French enterprises (BROADPEAK, MTARGET, SISTEER and VIACCESS ORCA) specializing in information technology (IT) and new media, will be present in Hanoi, within the framework of a group working trip organized by the UBIFRANCE Vietnam Trade Agency.

This mission aims to strengthen the relationship between French and Vietnamese businesses operating in the telecommunications sector, in line with the Vietnamese Government's desire to promote the development of IT and Communications.

With the goal of making IT and communications an important lever for Vietnam's economic development, French businesses are looking to develop business and cooperation in Vietnam as well as better understand the Vietnamese market.

In addition to organizing many B2B meetings between businesses of both sides, the focus of the meetings between French and Vietnamese businesses is a Workshop with the theme "Challenges and prospects for Broadband development in Vietnam - Opportunities for French-Vietnamese technology and trade cooperation".

The workshop will be co-organized by the UBIFRANCE Vietnam Trade Agency and the Vietnam Telecommunications Authority - VNTA under the Ministry of Information and Communications on Wednesday (September 26)./.
