Since its establishment with a scale of 1 transaction point at the head office and 2 Savings Funds, up to now, Vietinbank - Vinh City Branch has 06 offices at the head office and 07 transaction offices spread throughout Vinh City, with nearly 100 staff; is one of the 5 leading units in terms of scale and operational efficiency among a total of nearly 40 level 1 branches of credit institutions operating in Nghe An province.

Mobilized capital has grown steadily, in 1995 the mobilized capital was 31 billion VND, by 2014 the mobilized capital on the spot reached more than 2,500 billion VND, 81 times higher than the first day of independence. The average growth rate of outstanding loans over the past 20 years has reached 25%/year. The Branch's capital has participated in the construction of many large projects in the area and throughout the country, contributing to the economic development of Nghe An in particular and the whole country in general, creating jobs and increasing income for thousands of workers.
