Vietjet Air opens Hanoi - Da Nang route
On the afternoon of May 24, VietJet Air and Da Nang International Airport held a ceremony to welcome passengers on VietJet Air's first flight from Hanoi to Da Nang and vice versa.
The flight departs from Hanoi at 13:55 and arrives in Da Nang at 15:10. The return flight departs from Da Nang at 15:45.
VietJet Air representative presented souvenirs to leaders of Da Nang Airport.
Currently, VietJet Air has flights connecting major cities across the country, including Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang, Hanoi - Da Nang, Hanoi - Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi.
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of VietJet Air, said that in the near future, the airline will continue to open flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to cities and regions across the country such as Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Can Tho, Da Lat... and in the region such as Thailand, Japan, and Korea.
Currently, VietJet Air is also testing and preparing to put into use an automatic check-in system for passengers right at the airport. The system is expected to go into operation in early June, becoming the first automatic system in Vietnam.
