These 3 programs are produced by the association between VTV and 3 partners: Binh Hanh Dan Company Limited, Dolphin Media Company Limited and AHC Vietnam Media Joint Stock Company.

The Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information also said: Previously, on March 10, 2015, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued document No. 616 requesting VTV to rectify and strengthen the control of the content of joint programs to ensure that joint activities are carried out in accordance with the law and to overcome violations in joint programs.

In document No. 616, the Ministry of Information and Communications announced: In the immediate future, temporarily suspend the issuance of certificates of registration for joint programs for VTV with joint partners that have previously committed multiple violations, including: Binh Hanh Dan Company Limited (BHD), Cat Tien Sa Advertising, Consulting and Performance Organization Company Limited;

Temporarily suspend the issuance of Registration Certificates for joint programs scheduled to be broadcast on VTV3 so that VTV can focus on taking corrective measures and strengthening the control of program content before broadcasting. Programs that are not granted certificates include Dep Viet, Vietnam Idol, Sang Tao Viet, Cai Ly - Cai Tinh (scheduled to be broadcast on VTV3).

The Ministry of Information and Communications affirms: For programs whose registration certificates for joint programs are still valid, if violations occur in the future, the Ministry will revoke the Certificate and take administrative sanctions according to regulations.

In addition, for programs that violate registration procedures for affiliation (broadcasting affiliation programs without being granted a certificate of affiliation by the Ministry of Information and Communications), the Ministry will not consider or process the granting of a certificate of affiliation for these programs; at the same time, administrative violations will be sanctioned according to regulations.

For joint registration programs whose registration content does not violate the provisions of Vietnamese law, does not violate Vietnamese culture, traditions and customs; the dossier ensures compliance with the provisions of Circular No. 19/2009/TT-BTTTT dated May 28, 2009 of the Ministry of Information and Communications regulating joint production of radio and television programs; the partner has not made any mistakes in the joint program, the Ministry of Information and Communications will continue to consider granting a joint registration certificate.

It is known that recently, during its operation, VTV has made a number of violations regarding information content, including programs produced by the station in collaboration with partners.

The affiliate programs that committed violations mostly focused on entertainment programs and game shows broadcast on VTV3 channel. The violations mainly focused on: False information; use of offensive language and images that are not in accordance with Vietnamese customs and traditions; and advertising violations.

For these violations, the Ministry of Information and Communications directly reminded the Station at weekly press conferences; reminded in writing; at the same time, in some cases, both reminded and imposed administrative penalties.
