Vinamilk shares the story of Vietnamese Organic Milk with the world

On June 26-27, in Lisbon, Portugal, the 13th Global Dairy Congress took place with the participation of companies in the top 50 largest dairy corporations in the world. At this year's conference, Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) was the only representative from Asia invited by the organizers to share: "Success stories in developing organic nutritional products".

This is an annual global conference on the dairy industry, with the participation of the world's leading nutrition corporations from Europe, the US, Japan... The conference is a place to share and honor success stories, create breakthroughs in orienting the development of the global dairy industry and introduce the world's outstanding advanced nutritional trends.

At the conference, Mr. Phan Minh Tien - CEO of Vinamilk shared the success story in developing and leading the premium organic trend in Vietnam and the region.

As the leading nutrition company in Vietnam and one of the top 50 dairy companies in the world, Vinamilk is a pioneer with the first European-standard organic dairy farm in Vietnam and launched the first European-standard organic milk powder for children, Vinamilk Organic Gold, produced in Vietnam.

In addition, Vinamilk is a pioneer in investing in organic ecosystems from dairy farms to factories, developing technology and R&D, along with introducing strict European organic standards to consumers, ensuring superior value and natural purity for organic nutrition.

Vinamilk's journey to develop premium organic trends in Vietnam and Asia

In 2017, Vinamilk officially inaugurated the first European-standard organic dairy farm in Vietnam and launched the first European-standard 100% organic fresh milk product line produced in Vietnam. After only 2 years, Vinamilk 100% organic fresh milk products are leading the premium organic fresh milk market in Vietnam.

In May 2019, along with two European organic dairy farms in Vietnam, Vinamilk entered into a joint venture with Japanese and Lao companies to build the Vinamilk - Lao Jagro dairy farm complex in Laos, with an expected scale of 100,000 cows on a land fund of 20,000 hectares and a total investment of up to 500 million USD.

It is expected that by 2020, phase 1 of the project will complete the construction and complete organic certifications according to European, American and Japanese standards, providing organic fresh milk ingredients for consumer demand in Vietnam and the Asian region.

Also in May 2019, Vinamilk pioneered the launch of Vinamilk Organic Gold brand powdered milk for children, the first product to meet European Organic standards produced in Vietnam.

According to Mr. Jan Frans Bastiaanse - CEO of Control Union Certificates, Vinamilk Organic Gold meets 100% of strict European organic standards. As an organic product, traceability is a top concern of parents. Vinamilk Organic Gold applies blockchain technology to help trace the origin very transparently.

Each can of Organic Gold product has only one "birth certificate" which is a unique QR code. By simply scanning the QR code at the bottom of the product box, consumers can be completely assured of the origin of 100% organic milk ingredients, production time and verification of European standard organic certification.
