Vinamilk has more products to support height development

(Baonghean) - Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company - Vinamilk has just officially launched a specialized product line to support height development that meets international standards of the US DRI, for children from 1-10 years old.

Dielac Grow with Grow-Pro formula is the result of research by Vinamilk's leading nutrition experts, containing superior nutrients according to the US DRI recommended nutritional needs, suitable for each stage of children's development (1-3 years old and 3-10 years old). The advantage of Dielac Grow, a specially formulated nutritional product to support height development with the Grow-Pro formula, is that it increases the calcium content by 30% and doubles the vitamin D3 content* to suit the needs of children in the height development age. In addition, the Grow-Pro formula also adds DHA, Linoleic acid, Alpha-linoleic acid to help children develop their brains, MCT and soluble fiber FOS along with the probiotic system Bifidobacterium, BB-12TM and antioxidant nutrients such as vitamins A, C, E, and minerals to help children gain weight and stay healthy.

The above products are sold at supermarkets and stores nationwide. The price of the product for children aged 1-3 years old is about 105,000 VND/400g paper box, about 123,000 VND/400g tin box, about 244,000 VND/900g tin box. The type for children aged 3-10 years old is about 103,000 VND/400g paper box, about 121,000 VND/400g tin box, about 239,000 VND/900g tin box.

It is known that in 2013 - 2014, Vinamilk opened 2 new factories producing powdered milk and liquid milk in Binh Duong with a total investment of more than 4,000 billion VND. Vinamilk's Vietnam powdered milk factory for children invested 2,000 billion VND in Binh Duong province has been in operation for nearly 2 years. This is the most modern factory in Asia, with a capacity of about 55,000 tons of milk per year. The factory has the function of producing all types of powdered milk for children and powdered milk for the elderly and sick people.

Vinamilk has invested 19.3% of shares in Miraka Factory (New Zealand). Vinamilk's products are currently available in more than 31 countries worldwide. Export items include infant formula, nutritional powder, condensed milk, liquid milk, soft drinks, soy milk, and yogurt.

Vinamilk's export strategy for the next 3 years focuses on the Middle East, Africa, Cuba, and the US. To continue developing in key export markets, in 2014, Vinamilk broke ground on a factory in Cambodia. The project has a total investment capital of 23 million USD, of which Vinamilk holds 51% ownership. In 2015, when the project comes into operation, its first-year revenue is estimated at about 35 million USD. Vinamilk has also received an investment license in Poland, with a scale of about 3 million USD. This project will play a role in providing agricultural products and livestock to support the production of dairy products and beverages, which are Vinamilk's key products. At the same time, the project is also a gateway for Vinamilk to access and expand in the European market.

In addition to investing in new projects, Vinamilk has also been very successful in investing and operating a series of previously invested projects. In the US, after Vinamilk completed the necessary procedures to purchase 70% of the shares of the Driftwood Dairy Factory, the Driftwood Project has officially been effectively exploited, bringing in revenue of more than 2,000 billion VND for Vinamilk in 2014. Driftwood is one of the largest milk producers in California (USA) and is a milk supplier for the school system under the school milk program of Los Angeles, California.
