(Baonghean.vn) - According to Brand Finance's 2022 annual report on the "Food and Beverage" industry, the Vinamilk brand was valued at 2.8 billion USD, an impressive increase of 18% compared to 2021 and rose in many major rankings of brand value and strength. Notably, Vinamilk surpassed 2 other major brands to take the lead in the Top 3 most potential milk brands globally. Vinamilk is also the only brand from Southeast Asia in these lists.

To conduct this year's report, Brand Finance (UK) evaluated more than 5,000 brands in 29 industries in 39 countries. With a comprehensive measurement method from many factors and indicators such as: brand impact, brand health and reputation, brand investment... combined with financial data and market surveys, the "Food and Beverage" report published annually by Brand Finance has helped provide transparent, fair and objective brand health assessments.

Vinamilk's brand value has continuously increased over the past 3 years as assessed by Brand Finance.

In the field of “Food and Beverage”, this year Vinamilk continued to “set a new record” by increasing its brand value by 18%, reaching 2.8 billion USD, rising tothe most potential brand position in the global dairy industry.This is also a highlight in this year's report, when the milk brand from Vietnam achieved this result.

In the dairy industry, Vinamilk has also made strides on the most important rankings. Specifically, this 2.8 billion dollar brand has advanced to 6th place in the Top 10 most valuable dairy brands globally and continues to be in the Top 5 strongest dairy brands globally at 2nd place. Notably, Vinamilk is the only representative from Southeast Asia, and is only behind the brand from the world's second largest market, India, in terms of brand strength.

Vinamilk is also present in major rankings of the Food sector in general such asTop 30 most valuable food brands (24th place), Top 10 strongest food brands (8th place).

This result is especially meaningful when 2021 is a year that has witnessed a series of challenges from the pandemic affecting all businesses. This also shows the solid foundations of the brand that this business has been building, not only helping Vinamilk overcome market fluctuations, but also increasing in value and strength thanks to the correct and sustainable strategy that it is steadfastly pursuing.


Compared to Brand Finance's 2021 report, there have been many changes in positions on many rankings, and there are also many new brands appearing for the first time. It can be seen that brands that invest in internal strength, focus on core values ​​and long-term vision have more endurance to overcome the "turbulence" but also need to innovate and continuously improve to meet new consumer needs, especially in a fast-changing industry like food and beverage (F&B).

For Vinamilk, this result is commensurate with the company's investment and orientation in building its brand in recent years to not only maintain its leading position domestically, but also to increasingly advance to many markets around the world.

Vinamilk's investments have also been positively evaluated by many domestic and foreign organizations. The "Brand Footprint 2022" report recently published by Worldpanel and Kantar is also a milestone marking more than a decade of Vinamilk appearing in the leading positions in the Top 10 most purchased milk brands. Most recently, Vinamilk also continued to be honored for the 10th consecutive time in the list of 50 best listed companies by Forbes Vietnam; entered the Top 50 typical sustainable development enterprises in 2022 (according to Nhip Cau Dau Tu).

Vinamilk is currently in the Top 40 largest dairy companies in the world in terms of revenue with a system of 17 factories and 15 farms at home and abroad. Products from this brand are present in 57 countries, with many products exported to markets such as the US, Japan, Korea, etc. In 2022, Vinamilk sets a revenue target of over 64,000 billion VND, continuing to promote investment and development projects such as the Farm Complex in Laos, Milk Paradise in Moc Chau, and building a Milk Factory in Hung Yen. In parallel with developing existing international markets, Vinamilk also joins hands with major partners such as the Japanese Sojitz Group and Del Monte Philippines in joint ventures in the food industry to continue promoting the growth of the company in general and the brand in particular.
