Vinamilk continues to affirm its leading position in the fresh milk market in Vietnam.

(Baonghean) - According to information from Nielsen, a company specializing in market research and evaluation, Vinamilk 100% fresh milk products of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company - Vinamilk are the leading products in both output and sales in the fresh milk segment from 2015 to present. For many years, Vinamilk has always been the market leader with fresh milk products and many nutritional products of international quality. With efforts to improve technology and pioneer new product trends, Vinamilk continues to consolidate and affirm its position as the number 1 dairy company in Vietnam.

Over the past years, the Vietnamese dairy industry has always achieved good growth rates. According to a report by the Vietnam Industry Research and Consulting Joint Stock Company (VIRAC), in the period 2010 - 2016, Vietnam's milk consumption revenue had a compound annual growth rate of 11.7%. Therefore, to meet the production demand for a finished liquid milk output of up to hundreds of millions of liters per year, along with hundreds of other types of dairy products, Vinamilk has systematically invested in a system of developing raw material sources according to international standards from grass planting, barn construction, cow feed processing to veterinary management and surrounding environment.

To date, Vinamilk has a system of 10 farms spread across Vietnam, proud to be the first farms in Southeast Asia to meet the international standards of Global Good Agricultural Practices (Global GAP). Vinamilk's farms are all large-scale with all cows imported from Australia, the US, and New Zealand. The total herd of cows supplying milk to the company, including Vinamilk's farms and farmers who have signed cooperation contracts to develop cows and sell milk to Vinamilk, is more than 120,000 cows, providing about 750 tons of raw fresh milk to produce over 3,000,000 (3 million) glasses of milk/day. In the coming years, Vinamilk plans to continue importing high-quality cows from the US, Australia, and New Zealand to meet the breeding needs of new farms.
